After graduating from high school, Kaden Nelson enrolled at Idaho State University, where he pursued a double major in Finance and Management. Around the same time, he joined the Idaho Army National Guard as a 13F forward observer. While balancing school and military service, he gained invaluable experience by completing the Basic Leadership Course and Bradley Gunnery training, and by deploying to Washington, D.C., for the presidential inauguration and later to the Middle East. He eventually concluded his service as a staff sergeant.

While finishing his undergraduate degree, Kaden also began working at Advantage Plus Federal Credit Union. What started as an internship quickly became his favorite workplace and truly a home away from home. He progressed from intern to loan processor to assistant manager and now serves as the branch manager at our Center Street location. During this time, he continued his education and ultimately earned his MBA in accounting from Grand Canyon University.

Through these combined experiences, Kaden has developed a deep passion for helping members understand their finances and the loan process. Buying a car or beginning a credit journey is a significant step, and he knows how overwhelming the unknown can feel. His goal is to help every member feel confident in the process and empowered with the financial knowledge they need.
